Story time at the Bielefeld library

Every six weeks on Saturday morning, I read English stories for the English-speaking kids in Bielefeld. One book for all ages to start with, then a short break. During the break, the kids can decide if they’d like to stay for a slightly more challenging story (for, say, 5 to 8-year-olds), or if they would prefer to go off and play.

Story time is of course completely free.

After the 30-minute session is over, anybody who wants to can join me, my husband and our two kids in the Literaturcaf√© next door for an informal get-together. (Drinks not included.) If your kids do not like listening to stories, or if they are outside the age range, feel free to stop by Literaturcaf√© at 11:00, and we’ll see you there.

Story time at the Bielefeld library is aimed at children who speak English at home. Children who do not (yet) speak English are also welcome, but please keep in mind that this is not the intended audience.
